• Transforming Local Infrastructure Success for West London!

West London Transforming Local Infrastructure proposal is a success and the the largest award in the country! This means that just under £1million will be invested in five boroughs of West London. A separate Hammersmith & Fulham proposal was also successful, which is excellent news for the whole of West London.

• Hounslow JSNA Visioning Day

Hounslow Council and NHS Hounslow will be holding a “Visioning Day” for the Joint Strategic Needs Assessments (JSNA) 2012-13 on Wed 1st Feb 2012. Third sector organisations linked to health & social care are invited to attend and feed into the JSNA process.

• WLN launches E-Surveys for Hounslow and Harrow

WLN will be running E-surveys to consult the VCS of both Hounslow and Harrow. Consultations with VCS organisations in Hounslow will help shape the development of a new Community Network for Hounslow and consultations with VCS organisations in Harrow will help shape the development of a new CVS for Harrow.

• Digital TV Small Grants Scheme

West London Network has been appointed by Digital Outreach to be the lead organisation in the areas covered by the Crystal Palace (London) transmitter, and are managing and administering the grants scheme in the area of Hounslow & Ealing.

• Digital TV is coming to London so get ready for the Switchover!

But don’t worry, there is plenty of help and support for the digtal switchover.
