West London Vinvolved Team

West London Vinvolved Team has made great strides in making a difference in young people’s lives ever since it’s inception in July 2008. The team which aims to create more volunteering opportunities for 16 to 25 year olds and encourage them to volunteer has since created over 1300 new volunteering opportunities. Hundreds of young people have been doing everything from administration, football coaching to taking care of the elderly.

The Vinvolved Team has managed to give capacity building support and training to over 180 organisations. Organisation forums are held every quarter where organisations come together, network and share good practice in recruiting and involving young people in their voluntary organisations.

Young people have also benefited from youth forums which have been held every quarter. The forums which have been organised by the Youth Action Team have covered a lot of topics which young people are passionate about. Some of the topics covered have been “Gun and Knife Crime” and “Domestic Violence.”

The Vinvolved Team has a number of exciting volunteering activities available. The team is also creating short term summer volunteering opportunities. If you are between the ages of 16-25 we have lots activities you can get involved in, support is available for everyone.
